Nintendo has published their latest financial earnings report, revealing the first official sales figures for the Nintendo Switch 2.

According to Nintendo’s data, the Switch 2 sold over 5.82 million units as of June 30th 2025, reaching over 6 million units 7 weeks after its launch. Nintendo also says that demand for the console is “exceeding supply” in many countries, stating that they will “continue to strengthen our production and supply systems to deliver as much Nintendo Switch 2 hardware as possible”.

Needless to say, it seems that the Switch 2 is on track to be a major success for Nintendo despite early skepticism about its price and other factors. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
