Switch Online Confirmed for 2018

Nintendo has just announced a slew of information on their upcoming online service, including pricing tiers and features.

Along with the already announced online lobby and voice chat service,  Nintendo also confirmed that their classic games selection, where subscribers will get to download a compilation of classic titles, will include online multiplayer. Additionally, subscribers will be able to enjoy exclusive e-shop deals on select e-shop digital games and content.

Pricing starts at USD 3.99 for 1 month, USD 7.99 for 3 months and USD 19.99 for 1-year. As of now, online multiplayer and co-op will remain free until Switch Online officially launches in 2018
