This would not be the first time a Nintendo related product goes off shelves as soon as it goes on it but Target has taken to Twitter to confirm that their stock of Super Mario Cereals has been swiped cleaned by consumers.

Answering to customers on Twitter, Target responded that the cereal sold out extremely quickly after its launch on 11 December and hopes to be able to restock their inventory soon

This was a very popular cereal that sold out fast. We'll share your interest with our buying teams in hopes for this cereal to be restocked. Keep your eyes peeled 👀

As far as Nintendo’s success goes, anything that seems to be embellished with a Nintendo Logo this year flew off shelves as far as they could go on. As we approach 2018, hopefully, it will be just as amazing a year for Nintendo.
