Following confirmation of their partnership with Nintendo, it seems Videogame giant Tencent is hard at work speeding up the process of bringing the Switch to China.
As reported via Technode, Tencent has posted two new job listings for a “Nintendo Cooperation Department”. The positions are based in Shenzhen, and cover the positions of “Business Analyst” and “Web Front-end Developer”. The company previously posted openings for Shanghai based positions relating to “platform and community operations” for the upcoming launch.
The formation of this new department seems to suggest that preparations for the big Switch launch in China are well on their way, thought its still uncertain when exactly the console will hit the country’s shores. We will bring more details on the Switch’s journey to China as they come.
