The Pokemon Company has announced a free exchange program for the official Pokemon Sword and Shield Guidebooks, which contained a whopping 64 errors.
First, the company confirmed that a second run is currently in production, and all the errors were amended accordingly in the second run. A free exchange program will take place for those who want to exchange their original books for the second run books, which contain no errors.
Details on the exchange program will be announced from mid February 2020. Overlap, the book’s publisher, will handle the replacements through their customer support service. The books will be mailed to customers, so retailers will not be involved in the exchange program at all.
