Award winning game The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has officially become the bestselling Legend of Zelda game of all time.
Updated sales data released by Nintendo today reveal that the game has sold 8.48 million copies on Nintendo Switch (both retail and digital). When factoring in Wii U sales, previous bestselling titles of the series, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time, are beaten by Breath of the Wild.
