Recently, a new historic high was set for a historic hit.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remains a staple for the speedrunning community to this day – especially with all of its exploitable glitches and such. Even with said glitches, however, most runners have struggled to achieve anything below 17 minutes for their Any% runs – until today.
Last week, Speedrunner Torje blew the community away with his new world record of 16:58. Some of it is actually chalked up to a little luck, as Torje himself claims partway through that it wasn’t “a good run”. Ultimately, however, he still proved even himself wrong!
Check out the masterful display below.
Congratulations to Torje! Now all that remains is to see who can take down his new record!
