The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Is Rising To The Top Of Amazon’s Bestselling Titles In The West

Following its announcement this week, it looks like Nintendo is already making bank on The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD for Nintendo Switch!

According to online retailer Amazon’s list of bestselling videogames, the remastered game is now one of the bestselling physical videogames for the current period. In the US, Skyward Sword HD is now the #1 bestselling physical title (only being outdone by digital download cards). Meanwhile in the UK, Skyward Sword HD is ranking as the 2nd bestselling physical title – only behind Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury.

In fact, the game’s pre-orders are currently out of stock on both Amazon US and Amazon UK (at the time of writing).

For now, it looks like Nintendo’s decision to re-release the Wii adventure on Nintendo Switch seems to be paying off for the company. We’ll report back as we hear more in the future!
