My Nintendo Store Japan has ended registrations for their first Nintendo Switch 2 lottery to determine who will be able to pre-order a Nintendo Switch 2. Results for the first lottery are scheduled to be announced from April 24, 11am Japan time.

Today, the date for the second lottery was announced – it will start on April 28, 2025. Conditions to enter the lottery, such as 50-hour playtime on Nintendo Switch and being at least a Nintendo Switch Online member for 1 year, are expected to continue to be in place. Full details will be announced on April 28.
