Earlier last year, Imagineer celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Medabots franchise with a new website and announcing a smartphone game. Since then, many nostalgic fans have been clamoring for the series to return to its console and handheld roots – and it looks like the company might finally be listening.
Recently, the official Medabots Twitter posted a poll which specifically asks its followers if they own a Switch or Switch Lite. You can see it below, along with a translation of the 4 options available.
- I have a Nintendo Switch
- I have Nintendo Switch Lite
- I don’t have either, but I plan to purchase one
- I don’t have either, and I don’t plan to buy them for now
At the time of writing, the poll results are roughly as follows – with most people owning a Nintendo Switch:
- I have a Nintendo Switch (70%)
- I have Nintendo Switch Lite (3%)
- I don’t have either, but I plan to purchase one (9%)
- I don’t have either, and I don’t plan to buy them for now (17%)
Overall, we can’t help but feel suspicious about Imagineer and its obvious little poll. With so many Nintendo fans speaking their mind now, it’ll definitely be interesting to see if the Medabots franchise eventually makes the Switch!
