The Pokemon Company Receives Andrew Yoon Legend Award At NY Game Awards
The 15th New York Game Awards has awarded the Andrew Yoon Legend Award to The Pokemon Company.
The Andrew Yoon Legend Award recognizes game changers in the videogame industry, of which The Pokemon Company is undeniably one of them. Pokemon Company President and CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara accepted the award on behalf of the company, and gave an acceptance speech where he spoke about his history with the franchise and what’s coming next for the series.

He accepted the Andrew Yoon Legend Award on behalf of the current owners of Pokemon: Game Freak, Creatures and Nintendo.
