Earlier today, Square Enix revealed that The World Ends with You would be getting an anime adaptation in 2021. If you’re hooked and want to know what Neku’s adventure is all about, you can now experience it all on your Nintendo Switch for cheap!
To celebrate the anime’s reveal, Square Enix is now hosting a 50% off sale for The World Ends With You: Final Remix on the Switch eShop, until 20 July 2020. This means you’ll be able to grab the game for just $29.99 USD during this limited time.
For those new to the series, The World Ends With You: Final Remix is a HD adaptation of the original game on Nintendo DS – first released in 2007/2008. The game sees a teenager named Neku wake up in an alternate plane of Tokyo’s Shibuya precinct, where he is forced to participate in the deadly “Reaper’s Game” across 7 days…or face total erasure.
