Nintendo of America Reggie Fils-Aime could have teased a potential announcement for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate at The Game Awards 2018.

When Reggie was told The Game Awards 2018 would begin on December 6 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate launches a day after, he said “we need to do something special at your show”. This could mean two things – an announcement related to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, or at least, a Nintendo announcement for something else.

Fans speculate that the first DLC Fighter Pass character will be revealed at The Game Awards, while others are not making any predictions as to what it is.
