This Fisher-Price Toy Contains A Cool Konami Code Secret

It looks like the infamous Konami code has popped up in the oddest of places.

Apparently, a new Fisher-Price toy in the shape of a video game controller will play an Easter egg when you press the inputs Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A in sequence! You won’t get 30 lives like in Contra for the NES, but the secret jingle you get is still pretty satisfying.

Check it out below, courtesy of gaming journalist Chris Scullion.

Talk about educating your kid in the rich history of gaming cheats this early! One of Fisher-Price’s product designers must be quite an old-time gaming nerd.
