Modder and Youtuber David Barscheski recently spent some time to mod his original GameCube Wavebird controller to make it work wirelessly with the Nintendo Switch.
To pull this off, Barscheski replaced the guts of the controller with a GameCube controller board, which connects to the 8bitdo adapter. The end result is a neat looking controller with no dangling adapters.
