Tomorrow Is Reggie Fils-Aime’s Last Day As Nintendo Of America President
Tomorrow, April 15, 2019, marks the last day of Reggie Fils-Aime’s work at Nintendo of America at President and COO (Chief Operating Officer).
After over 15 years, Reggie is finally stepping down as President to retire and spend more time with his family. On April 16, the man who was “kicking ass and taking names” will leave Nintendo of America HQ and hand over the reins to his successor, Doug Bowser.
We’d like to remind you of Reggie’s comments on his retirement:
“Nintendo owns a part of my heart forever. It’s a part that is filled with gratitude – for the incredibly talented people I’ve worked with, for the opportunity to represent such a wonderful brand, and most of all, to feel like a member of the world’s most positive and enduring gamer community. As I look forward to departing in both good health and good humor, this is not ‘game over’ for me, but instead ‘leveling up’ to more time with my wife, family and friends.”
We wish Reggie a happy retirement and a healthy life ahead.
