Touhou Danmaku Kagura Phantasia Lost Announced For Switch

Developer Unknown X and publisher Alliance Arts have announced Touhou Danmaku Kagura Phantasia Lost for Switch and PC.

The title is a rhythm game made under the Touhou Project Officially Approved Derivative Games umbrella, and a rebuild of the mobile game Touhou Danmaku Kagura. It will release first on PC February 8th 2024 in both a Standard release and a Deluxe release with all the DLCs. Aside from including songs from all across the Touhou series, it will also feature a collaboration between Undertale creator Toby Fox and Touhou creator ZUN.

Relive the hit mobile rhythm game rebuilt for PC and optimized for keyboard and controller support, and tap to the beat to more than 160 Touhou musical arrangements across four difficulty levels. Embark on a brand new storyline distinct from the mobile release, and restore Phantasia to its former glory while gathering lost memory fragments to unveil the mysterious cause behind its destruction.

Hit notes across six lanes in perfect harmony with favorite tracks in “Kagura Stage” mode, and blast bosses on beat in the all-new “Danmaku Stage” mode adding rhythm and timing to Danmaku shoot ‘em up dynamics. Enjoy free DLC music “U.N. Owen Was Hero?” by famed composer Toby Fox (Undertale, composer) in collaboration with Touhou creator ZUN, and keep fresh Touhou rhythms in rotation with additional songs available via DLC song packs.

Touhou Danmaku Kagura Phantasia Lost arrives on PC via Steam Wednesday, February 7th, 2024, and is currently in development for Nintendo Switch.
