The Pokemon Company and Japan’s Ministry Of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) have revealed a new Pokemon support ambassador for Water Day in Japan.
Fittingly, the Water-Type Eeveelution Vaporeon has been named an official support ambassador for Japan’s Water Day on August 1st. The event is part of an initiative called Water Week, which is meant to raise water awareness during the first week of August, Japan’s hottest time of year.
As part of the festivities, a Vaporeon mascot has made its debut in a promotional video for Water Day, which you can find below:
