Wayforward Says River City Girls 2 US/EU Release Still Planned For 2022

Following the game’s launch in Japan and Asia, Wayforward has shared an update regarding the US/EU release for River City Girls 2.

As announced on Twitter, the game’s release in the US and EU has unfortunately been delayed yet again, so as to “deliver the best, most full-featured experience possible”. The publisher goes on to clarify that they still expect to launch before the end of 2022, which is a rather short window of opportunity since there are only a few more weeks remaining in the year.

This is the second delay that the US/EU version of the game has received, and its currently not clear what about this version of the game has made it more challenging to work with compared to the Japanese/Asian release. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
