If you look at the bottom of your Nintendo Switch, you will find a serial number with 14 characters that starts with X. But what if, for some reason, it’s scratched off?
Nintendo has provided an alternative way to locate your system’s serial number. All you have to do is go to the HOME Menu, select “System”, and then select “Serial Information”. That’s where you will be able to find your serial number for the Switch:
