Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Switch Pro Controller Gets An Improved D-Pad

A Reddit user has discovered Nintendo has changed the way the D-Pad works on the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Edition Nintendo Switch Pro Controller that launched a few days ago.

According to Howwy23, the pole in the new D-Pad is longer than the old D-Pad found in previous Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers. The rubber membrane in the D-Pad has a tube in the center where the pole sits in, and that new tube is softer and less rigid than the old one.

With these changes made, the new D-Pad is less prone to accidental presses but that also means you couldn’t press up and down or left and right at the same time simultaneously.

So, what do you think about the changes Nintendo has made to the Pro Controller? Let us know in the comments!
