Earlier this year, Nintendo revealed that while Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will be releasing earlier than originally planned, those purchasing the game’s Special Edition in Japan will have to wait a little longer to enjoy its extra goodies. Well it looks like European fans will also have to be similarly patient if they wish to purchase the Special Edition.
According to the My Nintendo Store in Europe, “additional contents” from the European Collector’s Edition (such as the SteelBook case, softcover concept art book and outer box packaging) will only be shipping separately at a later date. Hence, those who order this Collector’s Edition will only receive the standard copy of the game first when it launches on 29 July 2022.
Here is the exact excerpt of the notice from Nintendo of Europe’s website:
For now, Nintendo of America has not confirmed if this will also be the case for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition package in North America. We’ll report back if we hear more in the future. Stay tuned.
