Earlier today, Marvelous announced that the Switch remake of Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town would be heading west. While the Japanese title of the remake will be STORY OF SEASONS: Reunion In Mineral Town, XSEED has now confirmed that the game will be heading over to North America as STORY OF SEASONS: Friends of Mineral Town!
For now, the game will be launching in Japan on 17 October 2019, while the US release date will be confirmed later on. We will bring you more updates about this exciting HD revival as we hear more.

Torrance, Calif. – July 4, 2019 – XSEED Games, the independent-minded publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., is delighted to announce today that STORY OF SEASONS: Friends of Mineral Town, is confirmed for release in North America. The long-awaited return to one of the most beloved entries in the original farm/life simulation franchise, known in Japan as Bokujo Monogatari, is also the first mainline title in the series to be released for the Nintendo Switch platform.
Originally released for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance in 2003, STORY OF SEASONS: Friends of Mineral Town is a complete remake that will let series fans revisit the charming world of Mineral Town, while also introducing it to a new generation of farmers. In this peaceful setting, players will grow crops, take care of animals, and build relationships with villagers.

STORY OF SEASONS: Friends of Mineral Town will be published by XSEED Games in North America on Nintendo Switch™, and will be published for release in Japan by Marvelous Inc.
