Famitsu has published the latest sales figures for the Japanese market from June 17 to June 23, 2019.
Yo-Kai Watch 4 was the biggest release last week. The Nintendo Switch exclusive sold 157,210 copies in its first few days in Japan. The second bestselling game of the week, PS4’s Yakuza 5, came in at 21,047 copies.
Doraemon Story of Seasons, released two weeks ago, moved 14,565 copies. It has now sold 56,795 copies in its entire lifetime.
Nintendo Switch and video game hardware sales are at an all time low. The Switch merely moved 29,058 systems last week, though it remained the bestselling hardware in Japan. PS4 and PS4 Pro sales topped 15,000 units.
