Yooka-Laylee And The Impossible Lair Nintendo 64 Style Filter Is A Pre-Order Bonus

Team17 has announced a special pre-order bonus for players who order Yooka-Laylee and The Impossible Lair on Nintendo Switch.

All pre-orders of Yooka-Laylee And The Impossible Lair will come with Trowzer’s Top Tonic Pack, which includes four Tonics. There are over 60 Tonics to collect in the game, and they modify gameplay in many ways such as making enemies stronger or the visual appearance of the world.

The four Tonics in Trowzer’s Top Tonic Pack are:

  • Largee Head tonic: This tonic gives Laylee a comically oversized head
  • Glow Worm tonic: Yooka and Laylee glow like… well, glow worms
  • D.I.S.C.O. tonic: Turn every level into a platforming party of Playtonic proportions
  • Yooka 64: A blast from the past Tonic for fans of all things retro

Here’s how the world looks like when some Tonics are in use:

So if you wanna get your hands on those Tonics, you’d probably want to pre-order the game before it launches on October 8.

What do you think?
