On April 12, the Nintendo Today! app shown a few new screenshots of Bowser Jr. in Mario Kart World that seemingly confirms a new customization feature – stickers.
While both screenshots feature Bowser Jr. riding the same type of kart, the first kart has a sticker of Bowser, while the second has a 1-UP sticker instead. This suggests that stickers can be changed by the player:
Nintendo Treehouse Live footage also suggests that stickers can be collected in Free Roam mode. In the screenshot below, a “Birdo Jewelry” appears on screen after the player drove 300 km. This means that stickers can be collected by driving in Free Roam.
Last but not least, a + button appears with a “Have a nice Drive!” sticker on the kart selection screen, so this could be where players get to choose the sticker they want to use.
