Nintendo has prepared a new tool that allows users to perform a server system transfer.
A server system transfer is recommended for users who are planning to sell their Nintendo Switch before getting their Nintendo Switch 2. The process is simple – go to the Settings menu, start the Server System Transfer, and upload data. After the data is uploaded to the server, data for all users on the console will be wiped and reset to factory settings.
After getting the Nintendo Switch 2, users can download the data from Server System Transfer and receive all their games, save data, and other data on the Switch 2.
