It seems that Nintendo Switch 2 will allow players to customize button mapping for every game they have on a user profile level.

What that means is that, besides mapping various buttons to the GL/GR buttons on a Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller or Joy-Con 2 Charging Grip, you can do the same for every other button used in gameplay on your Joy-Con 2 or Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller.

There is also an option that allows you to quickly map buttons on the Quick Settings menu, which can be opened by holding the HOME button at anytime. This option must be enabled first in the settings menu.
