You Can Soon Change Your Pokemon GO Team By Forking Out Money

Pokemon GO dataminer Chrales has discovered a new item that will be available for purchase in Pokemon GO in the next update.

The item is called Team Medallion, which will allow trainers to change their team. So if you’re unhappy with Team Instinct, you can change to, say, Team Valor or Team Mystic. Here is how the Team Medallion looks like:

And here is the description, which states you can only purchase once every 365 days:

“A unique coin that enables a Trainer to change teams. A Team Medallion can only be purchased from the shop once per 365 days.”

Although there’s no word on how much the Team Medallion costs at this time, a leaked screenshot suggests it will cost 100,000 PokeCoins, or about USD799.92 (assuming the trainer purchases the 14,500 coin bundle eight times):
