Following its announcement earlier this year, Konami has released a new teaser trailer for Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, along with some new details about the game.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel is a free-to-play videogame adaptation of the popular trading card game, promising to feature over 10,000 cards from across the franchise’s history. Notably, the fine print states that some cards “require event participation and in-game purchases” suggesting that the game may include some form of microtransactions.

Welcome to Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, the hotly anticipated digital title that’s set to bring the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game to screens all over the world.
With a blueprint of “online Yu-Gi-Oh! for both players and audiences,” Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel will be wholly positioned around the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game / Official Card Game, spanning more than two decades of Dueling history and over 10,000 cards. (Some cards may require event participation or in-game purchases.)
