Yuji Horii: The Legend Of Zelda Series Deserves To Represent The Heisei Era

The Weekly Famitsu has published some interesting comments coming from Dragon Quest creator Yuji Horii and Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino, who were speaking about the Heisei era that ended in Japan in April 2019.

When asked by the host which video game should represent the Heisei era, Horii said The Legend of Zelda series deserves that honor. He pointed out in particular Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild, as well as the other games that released between them.

Level-5 CEO Hino said not only should Breath of the Wild deserve that, but the Dragon Quest series as a whole, because without Dragon Quest the video game world would look very different today.

What do you think?
