By now, the internet is rife with various artist renditions of Nintendo characters with a more hyper realistic artstyle – with most examples wowing the community and earning unanimous praise. Not all characters are that simply to translate into real-life, however, and today’s example might just be an prime example for years to come…
Miguel Vasquez, a 3D character artist, recently shared their hyper-realistic rendition of the Super Mario character Toad as a human being – and it’s anything but easy on the eyes. Toad isn’t the only fictional character that Vasquez has re-imagined into a living nightmare, however. If you can’t get enough of his freaky 3D models, you can find even more of them on ArtStation.
