Monolith Soft has revealed the number of people that worked on the amazing open world game, Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
In an interview conducted by Denifaminicogamer, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 director Tetsuya Takahashi revealed that Monolith Soft’s Tokyo studio is home to around 100 developers.
When Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was still in development, Nintendo was also working on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Around 50 to 60 Monolith Soft developers went to Nintendo to assist them on Breath of the Wild’s development. 40 developers worked on Xenoblade Chronicles 2, with the remaining 10 involved in R&D (Research and Development).
For comparison’s sake, over 100 people were working on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Shigeru Miyamoto said in June 2016.
