Here’s something that a very limited number of backers would surely drool on.
On 505 Games’ latest Bloodstained: Ritual of The Night Backer Update, it was revealed that 800 stand-alone FuturePak Switch steel cases will be sold exclusively to backers for USD 14.99. Now, this one has a really striking difference from that of GAME UK’s Bloodstained exclusive pre-order bonus Steelbook.
While the outer shell’s design features the same art, 505 Games’ FuturePak Switch steel case showcases two different slots inside – a Switch cartridge slot on the left and a CD slot on the right.
These cases feature a glossy metal renditioning of Mana Ikeda’s fantastic box art for the game, and an internal hinge so when fully opened the case creates a flat surface to display the art. The cases hold game discs and Switch cartridges. We’ll be sure to announce exactly when these will go on sale, so stay tuned!
It’s also a nice gesture of 505 Games to make the goodie exclusively available for backers, perhaps maybe, as a consolation for that “backer exclusive” content being made available to non-backers as well.
Here’s how it looks like:
