Pokemon Sleep Crosses 1 Million Monthly Users In Japan

Market analyst Sensor Tower has released some new data about Pokemon Sleep.

As reported via Famitsu, Pokemon Sleep now has over 1 million monthly active users in Japan, a figure which is almost double that of the United States. Japan is overall a big market for the app, accounting for 37% of it’s downloads and 70% of it’s revenue.

Furthermore, Pokemon Sleep is consistently at the top of Japan’s health and fitness category with over 450,000 downloads, double that of the second place contender Pokemon GO.

Japan is the largest market for "Pokemon Sleep," and it is ranked first in terms of both downloads and revenue share. The average number of active users per month is about 1 million, more than double the number of users in second place.

Some other interesting findings are as follows:

  • Players in the 25-34 age range form the majority of the Japanese playerbase, accounting for 47%.
    • This is followed by players in the 35-44 age range, accounting for 26%
  • The app has a male-to-female user ratio of 6:4.
