Japan: The Legend of Zelda Wave 2 amiibo restock coming in Late October
For customers, finding The Legend of Zelda Wave 2 amiibo has been a really tough endeavour due to scalpers and high demand.
There are three amiibo part of the wave 2 lineup – Majora’s Mask Link, Twilight Princess Link, and Skyward Sword Link. The reason why they’re so popular is because each amiibo provides weapons, gear, and other essentials in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. For example, the only way to obtain the Fierce Deity Link costume is by using the Majora’s Mask Link amiibo.
The three amiibo are virtually sold out at retail in Japan – unless you’re willing to fork out over 3,000 yen to scalpers.
We have some good news for amiibo collectors though. Japanese retailer Nojima has confirmed to us that Nintendo is manufacturing more units of The Legend of Zelda Wave 2 amiibo. That’s not all – last year’s Zelda Wave 1 amiibo and this year’s Zelda: Breath of the Wild amiibo are also included. The restocks are scheduled to hit store shelves in Japan in late October 2017.
