Pokémon 30th Anniversary Celebrations At Singapore’s Changi Airport, Jewel, And The Kallang Announced
The Pokémon Company has announced a slew of experiences and activities across three locations in Singapore to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Pokémon.
These activities will take place from 2026 to 2027. Read on to find out more.
[1] Pokémon RUN 30, a fun-run event at The Kallang
An interactive fun-run experience called Pokémon RUN 30: Singapore Edition will be held at The Kallang from November 7 to 8, 2026. Participants will receive a runner’s kit with a variety of items, and exclusive merchandise will be available for sale at a pop-up store at the event. Both participants and non-participants can also look forward to meet-and-greet sessions with Pikachu, a Time Tunnel showcasing Pokémon’s 30 years of history, and other interactive activities.
[2] Pokemon Campaigns at Changi Airport and Jewel
From November 3, 2026, shoppers at Changi Airport and Jewel Changi Airport can purchase or redeem exclusive Pokémon merchandise with a valid receipt and spend. The campaign will end on January 31, 2027 at Jewel, and February 28 at Changi Airport.

Besides merchandise, visitors at Changi Airport can enjoy Christmas-themed Pokemon decorations until the end of 2026, followed by Lunar New Year-themed decorations in early 2027. Other activities also include Nintendo Switch 2 demo stations featuring titles from the Pokémon series, as well as trial-play sessions for the Pokémon Trading Card Game.
[3] PokéXciting! at Changi Airport and Jewel
PokéXciting!, a large-scale party event celebrating the Pokémon series across Asian cities, will take place at Changi Airport and Jewel in Singapore.
Activities include a Pokémon Parade featuring all first 27 Partner Pokémon at Jewel Changi Airport, and Pokémon stage shows featuring a blue PokéXciting! Pikachu at Changi Airport Terminal 3.
[4] Continue the celebrations in Pokémon GO
A Pokémon GO in-game event will take place in Singapore from November 7 to 8 2026, where players can catch a Singapore-exclusive PokéXciting! Pikachu. Other activities, such as a in-game Stamp Rally and Timed Research, are also planned.

Pokémon brings immersive experiences to Singapore’s iconic destinations, including Changi Airport, Jewel and The Kallang
Singapore, 12 August 2026 – The Pokémon Company (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara) today unveiled the exciting lineup of activities taking place in Singapore as part of the Pokémon 30th Anniversary celebrations during a press conference held at Jewel Chang! Airport (Jewel). The celebrations will feature a series of immersive experiences, entertainment and special programmes for fans to commemorate three decades of Pokémon.
In collaboration with local partners Changi Airport Group (Singapore) Pte. Ltd (Changi Airport), Jewel Changi Airport Trustee Pte. Ltd (Jewel), and The Kallang (The Kallang), Pokémon’s 30th Anniversary will come to life across some of Singapore’s most iconic destinations. Taking place simultaneously on 7 – 8 November 2026, PokéXciting! at Changi Airport and Jewel, together with Pokémon RUN 30 at The Kallang, will transform Singapore into a weekend-long celebration, welcoming everyone from lifelong Pokemon fans to those discovering Pokémon for the first time.
The Pokémon 30th Anniversary Press Conference in Singapore was hosted by The Pokemon Company and supported by local partners. Guests enjoyed a special Pikachu performance and were given a preview of the experiences planned for Singapore’s Pokémon 30th Anniversary celebrations. 1. Pokémon RUN 30: A Pokémon Adventure Awaits at The Kallang
Pokémon RUN is an interactive Fun Run experience that brings together Pokemon fans and runners in a themed adventure format. First held as the Pokémon RUN Carnival 2015 in Taiwan, the run is now making a comeback to more Asian countries, including Singapore, as part of the celebrations for Pokémon’s 30th anniversary.
Pokémon RUN 30: Singapore Edition will be held on 7 – 8 November at The Kallang. The event invites participants to embark on an immersive journey through the world of Pokémon in celebration of Pokemon’s past, present, and future.
Participants will begin their adventure by choosing their very first partner Pokémon. Along the immersive run course, Trainers will encounter themed challenges inspired by the Pokémon world. including Gym Battles, encountering wild Pokemon, opportunities to complete their Pokédex Search Sheet, and chances to evolve their partner Pokémon. Themed checkpoints and interactive elements throughout the course are designed to create a dynamic storytelling experience that brings the Pokémon journey to life.
Furthermore, a dedicated Festival Zone will be open to both participants and non-participants of the Pokémon RUN 30 with free admission. Visitors can journey through Pokémon’s 30-year history at the Time Tunnel, explore immersive experience zones showcasing the latest Pokémon content, and catch Pikachu at the Meet & Greet.
At the Festival Zone, Pokémon pop-up store featuring special merchandise will be available for purchase. 7-ELEVEN is slated to join the event as an official sponsor, offering special on-site experiences and activities for visitors. Registered participants will receive a special Pokémon RUN 30 Runner’s Kit, including a UNIQLO-sponsored event T-shirt.
The special merchandise was showcased at the 30th Anniversary Press Conference in Singapore, giving Singaporean media and content creators a first look at the Pokémon RUN 30 special merchandise.

From 3 November 2026, Pokémon fans can enjoy a special Pokémon 30th anniversary celebration campaign at Changi Airport and Jewel. The campaign will run until 31 January 2027 at Jewel and until 28 February 2027 at Changi Airport.
With a qualifying receipt from participating outlets at Changi Airport and Jewel, shoppers will be eligible to purchase or redeem original Pokémon merchandise featuring unique designs.

Fans can continue the celebrations at Changi Airport by exploring Christmas-themed Pokemon decorations until the end of 2026, followed by Lunar New Year-themed decorations in early 2027. They can also visit the Pokémon Experience Zone at the Changi Airport Terminal 3 Departure Hall — a dedicated space where fans can immerse themselves in various Pokémon video game titles on Nintendo Switch 2, and enjoy complimentary Pokémon Trading Card Game trial-play sessions.
At Jewel, fans can take part in a Pokémon Trading Card Game Quiz Rally held across the mall, where participants can view enlarged displays of individual TCG cards, each featuring one of the 27 First Partner Pokémon from all 9 generations, complete a quiz based on the displayed cards, and collect a prize.
Fans can also meet their favourite Pokemon and capture memorable photos during special Meet & Greet sessions at the Terminal 3 Departure Hall.
3. PokéXciting! in Singapore with Changi Airport and Jewel as the Hub
To commemorate 30 years since the original Pokémon games, Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green video games launched in Japan in 1996 for the Game Boy platform, The Pokémon Company is launching PokéXciting!, a large-scale party-style celebration across five cities in Asia, including Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Singapore, Manila, and Bangkok, bringing together entertainment, nostalgia, interactive experiences across generations, making it one of the most ambitious Pokémon celebrations to date.
PokéXciting! in Singapore will take place on 7-8 November at Changi Airport and Jewel. The world’s premier airport will be thoroughly transformed into a global party destination, hosting a wide range of exciting fan experiences.
Fans can look forward to a Pokémon Parade at Jewel Forest Valley where All 27 First Partner Pokémon from 9 generations of the original video game series take the stage together. Besides that, they can also enjoy Pokémon stage shows at Changi Airport Terminal 3. featuring special appearances by PokéXciting! Pikachu* who will be making its special debut appearance in Singapore.
Throughout the activation period. guests can meet their favourite Pokémon during special Meet and Greet sessions and purchase special PokéXciting!Merchandise that can only be found at Changi Airport and Jewel. For Singapore, it will debut in blue! A special PokéXciting!-related event will also take place in Pokémon GO, where

4. Pokémon GO Celebrates 30 Years of Pokémon with Regional In-game Experience
Pokémon GO Trainers will also be able to enjoy an in-game event from 7 — 8 November in Singapore, where they can catch Singapore’s exclusive PokéXciting! Pikachu, as well as enjoy other special content such as Timed Research and GO Stamp Rally in Pokémon GO.
Trainers can also look forward to the first cross-region GO Stamp Rally. Starting 12 September 2026, this exclusive event series invites you to join the fun at the official PokéXciting! Event venues across five iconic destinations in the Asia-Pacific region. The PokéXciting! Cross-region GO Stamp Rally consists of five stamps, which you can find in Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Singapore, Manila and Bangkok. Explore each city and find the PokéXciting! PokéStop, each of which showcases a unique, region-exclusive PokeXciting! Pikachu stamp.
Collecting a stamp does more than mark your travel milestone, it also rewards you with an encounter with a PokeXciting! Pikachu featuring a local Location Background! Each city’s PokeXciting! Pikachu sports a unique costume color inspired by the city, making it the perfect souvenir from your travels.
