Rumor: Pokemon Switch To Be Ready By December, Code Name Revealed
One of the most hotly anticipated titles for Nintendo Switch is none other than the next Pokemon RPG, previously revealed at E3 in 2017 but little information is known about it.
However, an industry insider called Pixelpar may have the key to the answer. This is the same person that has previously reported on upcoming third party physical releases for Nintendo Switch. Still, take everything with a pinch of salt.
According to Pixelpar, who has been tracking Pokemon Switch’s localization progress, he has received confirmation that Nintendo and Game Freak are targeting a 2018 release for Pokemon Switch. The insider guessed it should be ready by November or December 2018. Localization kicked off since late February.

The next day, Pixelpar threw a bombshell – the code name for Pokemon Switch is Project Beluga. Beluga is a white whale that makes a high pitched ‘twittering’ noise. If this is true, it would be interesting to see how the game would turn out in connection with whales.
DING DING DING.
"Bell" monitor. A white whale. Belugas make a high pitched 'twittering' noise.
Project Beluga.
