Since the beginning of 2019, The Pokemon Company has released a Funko A Day with Pikachu figurine exclusively at the Pokemon Center US website every month.
Today, the company revealed the next figurine launching in August 2019. The figurine is called A Day with Pikachu: Charged Up for Game Day – and depicts Pikachu cheering with a foam glove. Check out a closer look below, along with more details:
Summer is giving way to fall, and with the changing of the seasons comes—football! Even Pikachu is excited for a bit of sporting competition, and with a football by its side, it’s clearly ready to root for its favorite team. The Charged Up for Game Day figure is the latest entry in Funko’s continuing A Day with Pikachu collection, and it features the Electric-type Pokémon decked out in a jersey (No. 25, naturally) and cheerfully waving a foam glove shaped like the Mythical Pokémon Victini. Any team would be lucky to have Pikachu as a fan!
You can get ready for game day yourself by adding this adorable figure to your collection. Just don’t miss your chance to get one when it arrives at the Pokémon Center later this month.
