It looks like detective game AI: The Somnium Files could be packing a lot more than just fantastic story segments.
Recently, Operation Bluebird managed to sit down for an interview with the game’s director, Kotaro Uchikoshi. While some fans may wonder if the title is a straight-up visual novel like Uchikoshi’s Zero Escape series, the director commented otherwise:
“It is different from usual Visual Novels, like, just straight text. There is going to be Targets, and Targets will have options. Then you’ll pick those, and that will kinda forward you.”
“You can check bodies and surroundings around you, but we lean more towards the conversations and people.”
While still fairly early, Uchikoshi also relayed through his translator that a sequel was possible – if fans really wanted one after finishing AI: The Somnium Files. If you want to read the interview in its entirety, head over here.
