Alien: Isolation Has Been Rated By The ESRB For Switch

Switch fans looking forward to the award-winning stealth survival horror game Alien: Isolation may not have to wait much longer!

Feral Interactive’s Alien: Isolation has finally received a rating from the ESRB – which signals that development on the Switch port might be wrapping up – and that it may be due for release soon.

Check out the rating and its summary below:

Rating Summary

This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of Amanda Ripley as she investigates a mysterious space station. From a first-person perspective, players explore the station’s rooms and corridors and use shotguns, pistols, bombs, and flamethrowers to kill alien creatures; androids can be dispatched by being shot, set on fire, or blown up. When Ripley is spotted by an alien, a short cutscene depicts her getting knocked down and bitten in the face, or stabbed through the chest with a spike. Blood is depicted when players are impaled; several corpses can be seen lying in pools of blood during the course of the game. The words “f**k,” and “sh*t” appear in the dialogue.

With the game now rated, an announcement regarding its release date should be coming from Feral Interactive in the near future.

Alien: Isolation is due out for release later this year on Switch as revealed during Nintendo’s E3 2019 Direct. The game will feature gyroscope aiming and HD rumble support.
