Before December, Amazon Australia was only selling books nothing else. However all this changed overnight as the retailer is now stocking a larger variety of items, including the Nintendo Switch.
What’s more shocking than the presence of the Switch on Amazon Australia is its price. Amazon Australia is selling both the Gray and Neon Joy-Con Nintendo Switch consoles at AUD399 (USD303), which is AUD70 lower than the manufacturer’s suggested retail price of AUD469 (USD356).
It’s unclear whether the Switch consoles offered at AUD399 are just an introductory offer, imports from the US, or something else. In any case if you’re living in Australia and don’t own a Switch yet, this is the best time to pick it up.
