There is this running joke about how you identify if a product was made by Nintendo – you can’t find enough of them in stores. Well, it seems like the shortage joke is hitting one of the Switch’s most anticipated games this year, Octopath Traveler. The game, although developed by Square Enix, is published by Nintendo internationally and Nintendo hasn’t prepared enough physical copies of the game it seems.
Things seem to have gotten so bad that even Amazon won’t be able to fulfil the orders of the standard physical editions within the next month, with Amazon expecting the orders to arrive only 1-2 months later. Hopefully, the situation can resolve itself faster than the slow wait of 60 days. If you like the wait though, you can check out the product here.
