French Nintendo historian Yamafuda has discovered a new Nintendo toy other Nintendo historians have never heard before.
The toy is called “Poi Tan” and was manufactured by Nintendo in 1966 (that’s 52 years ago!) and sold at retail for 500 yen.
Poi Tan is a toy that consists of two parts – a hoop that floats on water and a plastic fish. Players have to aim and throw the plastic fish into the hoop, as illustrated below.
