Earlier this year, Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Ruby Party unveiled Angelique Luminarise – the first new Angelique game to release in 18 years, which will be heading to Nintendo Switch in Japan. Well, here are more details about its release!
The two companies have confirmed that the otome visual novel will launch on 20 May 2021. The story follows a 25 year-old office worker, Ange, as she tires of her desk job and takes up the bizarre offer to become a candidate for the Queen of the Cosmos!
A standard release of the game will retail for 8,580 yen – while a Treasure Box edition containing a copy of the game, original illustration reproduction, drama CD, acrylic perpetual calendar, and 52-page “Floating City Guide” guidebook will retail for 15,180 yen. For now, the game is only slated to support Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese language options.
