Nintendo has released another version update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

According to the Japanese patchnotes, the Version 1.2.1. update “fixed some bugs”, although it remains to be seen exactly what bugs were fixed. Its possible that it may be to patch out the recently discovered duplication glitches, but this is not confirmed. Players will be required to download the update in order to use online services with the game.
