Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, Nintendo’s latest free to start mobile app, is suffering from downtime due to a high number of users trying to access the service.
Users are reporting they are encountering various communication errors (error codes 802-4809 and 802-4009) when attempting to access the game. Even after successfully logging into the game, the error codes may still appear from time to time.
Nintendo has announced on the official Japanese Animal Crossing Twitter account that they have investigated the issues plaguing users and said it will be hard to play Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp for some time. Nintendo added they will need some time to fully restore the service to a level where communication errors will stop appearing.
