App insights blog Sensor Tower has released more details on Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp’s performance on Android and iOS.
In the first 6 days of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp’s launch, the app was downloaded over 15 million times in 41 countries. In comparison, Super Mario Run was downloaded 32 million times (however it was available in over a hundred countries), while Fire Emblem Heroes saw 7 million downloads (available in around 39 countries at launch). This makes Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp the second largest Nintendo app launch in history.
Meanwhile Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is the No. 10 top grossing app on the iOS App Store in Japan, even reaching No. 5 on November 25. In the US, it’s ranking at No. 72, which is a pretty huge difference from Fire Emblem Heroes which grossed between No. 6 to No. 8 in the US during its best days.
