Arc System Works has confirmed that the first Guilty Gear title on Switch won’t be making it for 2018.
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R for Switch will instead be distributed sometime in 2019. Initially, Arc System Works revealed that the game will be releasing within 2018 via Switch eShop. However, it seems that won’t be the case any longer.
Here’s what the developers had to say:
“We’re sorry we were unable to release it in 2018, but please look forward to more information.”
No further information was given as to what caused the delay. We’ll find out and report back as we learn more.
