Arc System Works Has Donated 16 Million Yen To Fight The Coronavirus

Japanese publisher Arc System Works has announced the list of measures they have taken to fight the spread of the coronavirus.

Although the state of emergency has lifted in Japan, the publisher will continue to allow employees to work from home. In addition, they announced that they have donated 16 million yen (USD148,000) to 7 organizations to fight the coronavirus.

Arc System Works Co., Ltd. continuously works, with the cooperation of our business partners, to provide stable service to our customers.
Now, in regards to the spread of COVID-19, we have made a thorough plan to prevent infection, and are responding by making it our priority to lower the risk of infection and maintain the health of our employees, their families, our customers, our business partners,and our fans.

Recently, the government lifted the state of emergency in Japan. ASW has changed its policy to continuing remote work while transitioning to regular in-office work for low-risk employees such as those who can come to the office via walking.

As before, there will be times when we cannot receive phone calls from customers and business partners.
While we apologize for the inconvenience, we ask you to directly contact the employee in charge of the matter.
Product support by phone also remains unavailable.
We will accept inquiries via e-mail, but please be aware that it may take more time than usual to respond.

In addition, with the desire to see the impact of COVID-19 end as quickly as possible, and out of respect for those who suffer with the virus and the medical workers on the front-line against the virus, we have donated a total of 16,000,000 yen from our revenue (such as our “Stay at Home” sale in March) to the 7 organizations below, including the Japanese Red Cross Society.
